Welcome, high school counselors and students!

GPACAC College Fairs are always free for students and parents. Students planning on attending the fair can pre-register at StriveScanThis will allow you to best utilize the scanner technology most colleges will have by creating and printing out your individual QR code. Put an end to filling out info cards at every table!

Students: Register Now for Your Barcode
Go to to register for a barcode. It’s free and will save you time.
Fill out this short registration form to obtain your barcode. Show the barcode the colleges you meet at the fair. The colleges with scan it to obtain your information and send you more information about their schools. The day after the fair, you will receive a report with information about each college with whom you scanned.

Encourage your students to register for a barcode before they attend the fair at Registration only takes two minutes and will allow them more time for meaningful conversations at the fair. Download and print StriveScan’s handout for students.

High School Counselor Conference Grant Application

Resources from NACAC and GPACAC as well as additional sponsors are available to high school counselors seeking funding to attend a professional development conference in 2019.  The grant and scholarship opportunities are intended for high school counselors who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend professional development opportunities due to financial constraints.

GPACAC Annual Conference 
April 7-9, 2019
Omaha, NE

The 2019 GPACAC Conference Scholarship and Grant Application is available now! Your application will be considered for a SCOIR sponsored scholarship or a NACAC or GPACAC funded grant to attend the GPACAC annual conference.

GPACAC is pleased to share that SCOIR has graciously donated funds for high school counselors to attend the April 2019 conference. The SCOIR scholarship will cover up to full conference registration cost, hotel for two nights (at the DoubleTree host hotel Downtown Omaha), and meals not provided by conference. Transportation to and from conference is up to each individual. Your school can not be using SCOIR to be considered.
2019 GPACAC Conference Scholarship and Grant Application Details

  • Deadline: February 1, 2019
  • Following the priority deadline, grants will be awarded if funds are still available
  • Your application will be considered for a SCOIR sponsored scholarship or a NACAC or GPACAC funded grant
  • We will notify selected recipients by mid February 2019

 NACAC and GPACAC Grant Eligibility

  • Must be a GPACAC member in good standing
  • Priority will be given to individuals/institutions who have not received a grant in the past two years
  • Must fulfill the expectations of the grant requirements as stated
  • The NACAC funds are specifically earmarked for public high school counselors
  • Applicants must assist students in the transition process to college

NACAC and GPACAC Grant Details

  • Grant funding from NACAC or GPACAC may vary based on need and available funds. Grants could include funding for conference registration, lodging or travel expenses.
  • Recipients will be reimbursed following the attendance at the event and submission of expense report.
  • It is the expectation that each GPACAC grant recipient share their professional development with fellow counselors. There are many ways to fulfill this requirement such as presenting at a local, regional or national conference; submitting an article for our website or to a professional journal. 

While there is limited funding available, our goal is to provide financial support for high school counselors who might otherwise be unable to attend. 





Conference Grant Application (for Oklahoma Guidance Counselors)

Funding is available to High School Guidance Counselors in Oklahoma to attend a Professional Development Conference in 2013.

Our goal is to provide financial support for high school counselors from OK who might otherwise be unable to attend.  Applicants are not required to be GPACAC members, but must assist students in the transition process to college.  Examples include the GPACAC Annual Conference (Overland Park, KS), NACAC Annual Conference (TBD), Guiding the Way to Inclusion (Orlando), and Critical Components (Charolette).
