Conference Grant Application

Resources from NACAC and GPACAC are available to Public High School Counselors seeking funding to attend a Professional Development Conference in 2019.

2018-2019 Professional Grants Information and Application


  • Deadline for GPACAC conference: January 15
  • Deadline for NACAC conference: April 15
  • Following the priority deadline, grants will be awarded if funds are still available


  • Must be an GPACAC member in good standing
  • Priority will be given to individuals/institutions who have not received a grant in the past two years
  • Must fulfill the expectations of the grant requirements as stated

Grant Details

  • Full and partial grants awarded
  • Recipients will be reimbursed following the attendance at the event and submission of expense report.
  • It is the expectation that each GPACAC grant recipient share their professional development with fellow counselors. There are many ways to fulfill this requirement such as presenting at a local, regional or national conference; submitting an article for our website or to a professional journal. While there is limited funding available, our goal is to provide financial support for public high school counselors who might otherwise be unable to attend.  Applicants must assist students in the transition process to college. NACAC Conferences occur throughout the year, including:

GPACAC Annual Conference (Omaha, NE April 7-9, 2019) - application deadline is February 1, 2019
